After fifteen years in the aviation industry as a professional pilot, instructor, and safety officer B.J. joined his family manufacturing business. As an owner in the business he has transformed the culture, enabling the company to double it’s sales while improving quality and reducing costs. Realizing that many of his most innovative and powerful leadership skills are born out of his aviation experience, B.J. now brings these skills as to other business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Concepts like Human Factors and Crew Resource Management, forged in the commercial aviation industry, have made their way into surgical suites, fire departments, and other high-risk fields. Yet, these proven toolsets are largely absent in C-suites and board rooms.
